CLIENT’S STORY
Honest Words, Real Experiences
She had been feeling more anxious and overwhelmed than usual, wasn’t sleeping well, and noticed that she just didn’t feel herself.
I remember working with a single mother who came to me during a season when life felt especially heavy. She was balancing work, her children, and the many responsibilities that come with being a mom.
She also carried a lot of guilt for feeling this way as there were so many people depending on her. I remember her saying,
“I’m always there for everyone else. I just don’t know how to be there for myself right now.”
That conversation stayed with me. She didn’t need to be told to be stronger. She needed a space where she could be honest, feel understood, and get the support she deserved.
Getting help isn’t always about changing who you are. It’s about having the support to find your center again.
